Terms of Service

These terms cover the apps you buy or subscribe to from RL Forge Works (“we”, “us”) and your use of rlforgeworks.com. By buying or using one of our apps, you agree to them. We wrote them in plain English on purpose.

1. Who sells to you

Our online orders are processed by Link, Stripe’s checkout service, which acts as our reseller and merchant of record. That means Link takes your payment, charges and sends in any sales tax, and emails your receipt. Your card statement will show LINK.COM* with our name. You can see your orders and cancel or change your plan any time at link.com. The payment terms shown at checkout and Link’s “Sold through Link” help pages also apply to your purchase. We build, support and update the apps.

2. Your license

• Every app is a monthly plan. While your plan is paid up, you can use the app and you get every update and improvement we make to it.
• A license is for you (or your household or your own small business). Please don’t resell, share your account or download link publicly, or copy the app to sell or give away.
• Don’t try to break the app’s license check or take the app apart to copy it.

3. Monthly plans and canceling

Monthly plans are charged at the start of each month of service. You can cancel any time with the “manage subscription” link in your receipt email, or by emailing us. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you already paid for, and you won’t be charged again. If we ever change a price, we’ll tell you by email before your next charge.

5. Using the apps safely

Our apps are helpers, not professionals. In particular:

• Foreman gives building plans and price estimates. Prices change at the store, and you are responsible for checking measurements, following your local building rules, using tools safely, and making sure anything you hang or build is secure. When in doubt, ask a pro.
• Travel Translator uses automatic translation, which can make mistakes. Don’t rely on it alone for medical, legal, or emergency situations.
• DataShield helps you find and request removal from data broker sites. We can’t promise every site will remove your information or keep it removed.

6. No guarantees

We work hard to make our apps useful and reliable, but they are provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, we don’t promise they will be error-free or work on every device, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us for that app in the last 12 months. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

7. Changes

We may update these terms as our apps grow. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to your purchase, we’ll let you know by email.

8. The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
